• The MIDES Air Blaster lost pressure, what to do?

  In case of equipment stoppage during a long period, simply unscrew the valve, clean the contact surfaces with a cloth, use a small amount of thread adhesive and screw the valve back into the vessel. If it doesn't workcontact our specialist. Check your Maintenance Manual to see step by step.

• As the MIDES Valve spare parts?

  NO. Currently, we manufacture only 100% metallic valves that as 3 years warranty and useful life time of 5 years - in any enviorment. But we have replacement parts for older models like TMS, 4TE, 4TES and 5TE.

• Does the model 6AT valve fit older models?

  YES. The adaptation of 6AT valves is possible through the use of accessories. But the best thing to do is a new study of the project to readjust the system, in order to optimize cost and productivity.

• What are the requirements to fulfill the warranty?

  1 - 3/2 way Directional Valve - The valve activation time should be 0.8 seconds (pulse / coil energization time); 2 - Air Pipe - The maximum size of this hose must be 10 meters and the maximum diameter equal to 3/8 ”; 3 - Suspension cable - This cable must be assembled and tensioned. The assembly of this cable is essential for the security of the system; 4 - Discharge Tube - The maximum size of this tube must be 500mm. If you need to increase or decrease these parameters, MIDES should be consulted immediately.

• Can we install the Valve in the Air Blaster?

  It is not recommended mounting the directional valves directly on the air blaster. We recommend mounting it within an appropriate panel for protection.

• Can we instal the 3/2 directional valve on the Air Blaster?

  MIDES does not recommend to do this installation. We recommend instaling the 3/2 way directional valve in a appropriate panel for protection.

• What kind of compressed air is needed?

  Clean air free of particles, water and oil. We also suggest placing filters that purge water and oil.

• The blaster doesn't fill, what could have happened?

  Quick Exhaust Valve damage or blocked, Directional valve locked or damaged, a cut in the air supply, MIDES Valve with dust or other particles. Remember that after the Air blaster discharge the pressure gauge will go to 0 and immediately should start to fill. See Installationm Manual for operations procedures.

• The Air blaster does not discharge, what could have happened?

  Quick Exhaust Valve blocked or damaged, Directional valve blocked or damaged. Air pipe conection with more than 10 meters or larger than recommended diameter (Ø3 / 8 ”). Dust or dirt in the MIDES Valve.
